Julie Blanchard is a qualified primary school teacher and has worked for many years as a music educator in schools throughout Australia and England.
It was whilst working as a music specialist that she wrote Jump and Dance and Hide and Seek. After gaining much success with her first collection of songs, she set up her own music business to entertain 2-7 year olds and wrote and recorded another 30 songs for her CD Gumboots and Flippers. Julie was inspired to write the songs on the CDs by her own two children and the children at her schools.
Her songs deal with all aspects of a child's world, using everyday themes and language that children relate to. Julie gains great pleasure in sharing her songs as her young audiences are always open and receptive. These songs have been tried and tested and enjoyment is guaranteed!!!
