  More info

SAM and THE CIRCLE CYCLE's music is like watching the sun rising into an imminent storm. Sometimes gentle and tranquil, sometimes wild and raw. What shines through is the strength of the songs their freshness and originality. Lyrically abstract, the lines created, are inspired from a liquid world of sun, sand and surf.

Within their sound lies mystery and depth fusing elements of rock, jazz, blues and beyond with light warm overtones.

SAM and THE CIRCLE CYCLE was born from an impromptu recording session at Brad Wann's Top Cat Studios whereby, Sam Fletcher- singer/songwriter/ guitarist, was introduced to some of Australias finest session musicians; Scott Hills- Drums.(Flood) Geoff Wright- Bass and Slide Guitar.(JJ Cale, Tina Turner, John Farnham) Alan Park- Keyboards.(10cc, Steely Dans Jeff Baxter, Cliff Richard) John Hoffman-.Trumpet and Flugelhorn.(Woody Herman, Harry James) Roslyn Tipper-backing vocals Mitch Carey- Saxophone.(Lisa Hunt)
