The Joe Galea Band consist of some of our most experience musicians who individually have played with the likes of Russell Morris, Bobby James Syndicate, Richard Clapton, The Giants, Wendy Saddington, and are honoured to have the legendary Jimmie Sloggett on sax who during his early Sydney years, backed such International artists as Gene McDaniels, Wilson Picket, Ben E King and the late great Ray Charles,was one of the original members of Johnny O’Keefe’s backing band The Dee Jays, and later played with Max Merritt,
With great musicians such as these Joe Galea has everything he needs to complement his raw, gutsy vocals, and his years of entertaining in South East Asia (and in Vietnam) have given him the ability to leave his audiences wanting more. The dance floor is always packed and Joe manages to reach every last person in the crowd.

Galea's voice has worn to a deep husk, and his combo's juicy electric guitars, bayou keyboards, and throaty sax sound as if they've fought some battles too.
