I have been playing music for a very long time, I am in the over 50's bracket. I have a band called the Blackhats, I am the youngest member of the band .
I also do a duo with one of those band members, and I do a weekly regular gig as a one- man show on a river cruise boat in my region . I have been doing that for 10 years.
This year I was inducted into the S.Aust country music hall of fame, along with Rodney Vincent, and Wayne Horsbrough. I sell my c.d's at various country music shows, and on the cruise boat. I also have a couple of Adelaide community radio stations play my songs.
I live in the country ,so I don't get to hear these songs, but my friends tell me about the c.d being played on the radio. I have also won a couple of songwriting comps. This year I attended Tamworth and busked for 8 days straight. Did allright.Hope you like my music, Dave V...........
